Versecity

VerseCity (Hybrid-Rock) officially became a full band in January of 2008. Since the boys have played hundreds of shows and festivals including sharing the stage w/ National Acts like MKTO, Phantograms, Gym Class Heroes, Lifehouse, Boys Like Girls, Cobra Starship, DMX, Slim Thug and many more.

VerseCity released their 1st album "Epic Sunrise" in March of 2009 but it wasn’t until July of '09 when VerseCity entered Hard Rock Café’s world-wide Battle of the Bands Competition that they realized they had something special. VerseCity fought through several rounds before coming in 2nd place out of 250+ bands world-Wide.

A year and many shows later (April 2011) the band released a rock cover of Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” calling it “Tik Tok Rok”. Though it started out as a joke “Tik Tok Rok” took form and quickly spread around the world reaching as high as #3 on the radio charts in Indonesia. The boys followed that up w/ the release of their 2nd album "Hybrid" in 2012, and single "Pressure!" immediately jumped to #2 on the radio charts in Indonesia. This drew a lot of attention to the band and unfortunately for them and their fan base they ended signing a record deal they would later regret. This record label changed the band name and style of music and after trying it out for a year and being disappointed (May 2013) the band was able to get out of the deal and go back to being the band the fans knew and loved, VerseCity. Now, VerseCity is back in action scoring a spot on Vans Warped Tour (Aug 2013) and recording new music. VerseCity consist of young (Ages 22-29) but hard-working musicians who inspire to rock out and have a good time while lyrically pushing a positive message.

“To Accomplish Great Things we must not only Act but also Dream, not only Plan but also Believe.” In the Words of Vocalist Micaiah Walker, “Believe in VerseCity!
